Day 143: Sunrise at the Fishing Pier

My mother grew up on the Jersey shore and, just like her, I find the beaches to be a haven. Yes, perhaps the show ‘Jersey Shore’ has done a fantastic job of portraying the area to be overflowing with guidos and alcohol-driven shenanigans, but I have a hard time seeing it. It’s hard to think of a shore state that does not have one or two tourist overridden destinations, if one feels the need to search. When it comes to watching the sunrise, the Belmar Fishing Pier is hard to beat. With the photos from the mountain-top sunrise in Pennsylvania yesterday, that makes for lovely sunrises two days in a row!
