Certificate and Graduation Medallion
(5/14/2012)

Today (after finishing my last exam, hooray!) I picked up my certificate and medallion from the Honors office. It’s amazing how much work these two little things represent: four rigorous Honors classes that rivaled some of my advanced major classes in intensity, a whole slew of proposals and reports, and an independent research thesis. The Honors Fellows Program at Elon, described more in depth on the university website, is one of the key reasons I choose Elon University, and it did not disappoint. In conjunction with the Lumen Prize, I was able to propose and fund my research, and even present my findings at a number of conferences across the state, and country. I have been incredibly blessed to participate and complete the program. For those interested, following a successful presentation within the university for SURF day, I wrote a longer post about my experience.

Additionally, all entries about my research journey can be found under the tag Research,
entries regarding Elon’s Graduation events can be found under Graduation,
or, see photos from Project 365 here and read My Rules if you’re interested in starting your own!
